ACTION FOR SOLIDARITY
Action for Solidarity is a United States established and active 501 (c) (3) Non-profit Organization. We will ensure that your donation will get to the people who need these medicines by using the extensive distribution network of our sister organization Accion Solidaria in Caracas. Several Venezuelan non-profit organizations are currently petitioning the government to facilitate the importation and aid process so that the current medication shortage is resolved. However, this process will take some time which makes your donation the only LIFE–SAVING option many people have in the present.
GIVING A HELPING HAND
Your tax-deductible donation of any size will support the programs of Action for Solidarity, helping us deliver life-saving medications to Venezuela and advocating for Human Rights of people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases in Latin America.
If you do not have medications but instead would like to help our organization financially, you can make a tax-deductible donation using PAYPAL. We operate solely with private donations.
#IASKARVFORVENEZUELA is an initiative that arises from the deep concern of a group of international and independent HIV activists who connected through social networks and didn’t wait long to think carefully, analyze and take action in solidarity with people living with HIV in Venezuela, a country that is going through the worst health and general crisis in its history.
The main objective of this initiative is to raise awareness and draw attention to the problem of the health crisis of a country in northern South America (Venezuela), which is still been seen as anisolated problem not threatening the public health of other countries when in fact, this health crisis and horrible situation is a problem that can affect other countries and that should be seen more closely and carefully from every corner of the world.
#IASKARVFORVENEZUELA is not a campaign exclusively for people with HIV. In fact, this is a campaign that includes all human beings because anyone can be infected and/or affected by HIV. If we do not see it this way and do not collaborate humanely with Venezuelans living with HIV, then we are not helping in the fight against HIV / AIDS globally.
Children, youth, adults and the elderly from many countries of the world have shown their support and solidarity with Venezuelans living with HIV. We invite you to be part of this great campaign that is serving as a tool to make preassure from the international civil society and againist the pertinent entities and the government of Venezuela.
